High Temperature Heating Cell

There are many rheology applications that require data at elevated temperatures.  The T2SR® High Temperature Heating Cell is currently designed to span a temperature range of ambient to 400oC.  The Heating Cell is not equipped with cooling capability.

The image on the left shows the heating cell securing mounted to the z-axis stage translator, and the temperature controller as well.

We offer an insulation wrap for the heating cell to protect the user from unintentional contact with the heating cell during high temperature measurements.

With the lightweight design of the rheometer, 8.9 kg, it is easily located in fume hoods as needed in conducting high temperature studies.  The T2SR® rheometer does not require an air supply and operates on line voltage, 110-120V, 6A, 60 Hz, or 220-240V, 3A, 50Hz.

The heating cell is mounted to the z-axis Stage Translator on a ceramic disk and insulation pad.  These accessories are intended insulate the Stage Translator during heating cycles.

The heating cell is only available in the 15mm vial size.  Aluminum vials are available for high temperature studies to improve heat transfer to the sample under test.
