Our laboratory is state-of-the-art with instrumentation from Rheometric Scientific (now TA Instruments), Gottfert, Haake, Brookfield, and more.  We can provide testing in parallel plate, cone and plate, couette geometries in addition to our capillary viscometers.  

Fluid Dynamics is well-equipped for sample preparation, refrigeration, centrifugation, mixing, drying, moisture analysis, pH, Cahn dynamic surface tension measurements, etc.  Samples can be prepared and tested based on your requirements.  If samples need special storage conditions, pre-test conditioning, etc, we may be able to accommodate your needs.  

Many of  samples we receive for characterization studies are difficult to test, either because of the reactivity of the composition, temperature dependence, volatility of ingredients, scarcity of sample, internal microstructure, etc.  As a result, we often modify/validate testing procedures and design various accessories for the rheometers to effectively test the materials we receive.  This may include modified vapor traps, humidity chambers, serrated tools, etc.  With our machine shop we are generally able to meet the challenging demands of our testing commitments in short turn-around-time with good reproducibility.

In our experience as a testing and research laboratory, we have also designed or modified instrumentation for specific applications depending on our customer's requirements.
