The company was started in 1994 by Rhyta Rounds, PhD for the sole purpose of providing rheology research and testing services. Fluid Dynamics is one of the first commercial independent outsourcing services in rheology. The mission was and still is to make the science of rheology more accessible and easier to understand by the general R&D, Marketing and Technical Services/Sales community.
Rhyta is inventor/coinventor of numerous patents in complex dispersions and medical devices, in addition to her presentations and publications at national meetings over the years. She is author of several chapters in the first and second edition of Liquid Detergents in the Surfactant Science Series.
Services has expanded to include statistical analysis of consumer product testing and research. We have an expert mathematician on staff with a specialty in statistics for comprehensive modeling and data analysis.
